Yet Another Facebook Ads Coupon!

Posted by Matthew Berman On January - 19 - 2010

UPDATE: Check out my Facebook Ads Guide review. Facebook Ads Guide is an all-in-one guide to making money using facebook ads for affiliate marketing.

Here we go again. An internetbusinessdaily.net reader was kind enough to show me this Facebook ads coupon for $71.88. I know it is a weird amount, but that’s because it is converted from another currency. Here are the steps to receive this coupon:

  • 1. Go to qapacity.com/promote/facebook and sign up for an account.
  • 2. Wait for the confirmation email and confirm your account.
  • 3. Log in and goto the promote tab.
  • 4. Click the “read more” button in the middle of the page.
  • 5. Redeem your code.

That’s it! Have fun.

Hi there,
I joined Qapacity yesterday but the message they gave on the promote tab is that they will email you the code, which they never did. I emailed them explaining this and never heard from them. Is the promise of a facebook code just a ploy to get you to sign up to their website?

if it didn’t show up on that tab, you will receive it in an email a few days later. there is no ploy here…i’ve received the coupon.

Thx Matthew. Great Post.

Why does it say I have to link my Facebook Ad to my Qapacity website?

Nice site Matt. Not been here before. It is great how facebook lets these codes flow out so people can have a chance getting started on it!

I will promote either Film-Book dot Com or the site that was in part inspired by this website, ProMovieBlogger. Its a “How To” website for movie enthusiasts.

I may write a post about this coupon on the latter. I hope you don’t mind.

Hm, I also did not get the message it should be an automated thing I believe, like the confirmation – I see no reason for delay.

I setup the ad and let it run. Crazy. Over 48k impressions, 26 Clicks on the first day and the day is not over yet.

This is good news indeed! I knew about the Visa deal, but not about this one. I’ll check this asap. I’ll have to figure out a way to optimize my landing page, though, because thus far it hasn’t converted any facebook traffic. feel free to send me any suggestions.
Ciao,

I run targeted facebook ads and I also think it works perfectly. I love that it really narrows down your search parameters.

I signed up and created a page, then found the promotions area which told me the Facebook codes are not currently available in my country. I’m in the USA.

Matthew, no, it won’t work, and contacting Facebook definitely won’t help. Qapacity narrowed its offer to specific countries and the U.S. is not on the list.

On April 6, I created a web page and was given a $50 coupon credit from facebook for a free ad. Before the credit was used up, I went into the edit page on April 22 and changed the per click charge to $1 from the initial $.01 that I had originally checked in order to use up the credit before it expired. It was not my intention to continue the ad after the free coupon credit. I thought that I was editing it. I never received an email informing me that the credit was gone. I did not notice that the box for the daily budget amount was defaulted to $50. Since the coupon amount was $50, that was what I thought it referred to. It’s strange that the default box wasn’t left empty or defaulted to the $1 minimum. Well, it didn’t take them long to clean out my bank account before I noticed it. I think the editing page was deceptive and confusing. So read all the fine print before accepting the FREE coupon. I wanted to get my money’s worth-well, I sure did! Or should I say they DID! I’m trying to get some recourse from them, but they have my money and that’s all they care about.

Linda, I feel for your situation, that is very bad.

How much did you end up losing? The best thing you can do is contact them for a refund. I can’t promise they will give it to you since technically, you should have been checking everything often…but you might get lucky and they might refund it. Let me know what happens.
