I love when people get creative like this. A group of improv actors got together and did a funny Ghost Busters tribute in New York’s public library. Although it looks distracting to people trying to get work done, it was all done in good fun and people seemed to enjoy it. Check it out:
This is one of the best new SNL skits there is. So funny. What up with that features Kenan Thompson from old school shows like All That. He plays a hilarious show host who can’t seem to start the show without singing his introduction music. The skit has an ’90s feel to it because of the dancers in the background and Kenny G look a like. Check it out:
The Office is probably my favorite show on television right now. I’ve been watching since the very first episode and think Steve Carell is a genius. Since I have had a writers block for some time now, I figure why not post another great Office episode. This is the one that aired last night, where Toby comes back from his vacation. The opening scene is definitely my favorite part of the episode. Check it out:
I remember when I first got the Nintendo 64. I was so excited I couldn’t even comprehend what I was getting myself into. The first time I turned it on I was in awe over the 3D graphics, which were pretty much the first of its’ kind. Although I was excited, I wasn’t quite as excited as this kid:
This was last week’s new episode of Family Guy and I don’t remember laughing this hard at Family Guy in a while. This is exactly why I love Hulu, 5 seconds of commercials with video on demand. The bird is definitely the word.
EDIT: Hulu removed the video so here is the best part of the episode from youtube.
I kept hearing this song on the Pineapple Express trailer, and loved it. It’s some woman from France with a very catchy tune. That’s about all I know about this song and artist so if anyone knows more info please fill me in. The video is below. I seem to like the new types of music coming out of Europe, such as Adam Tensta who I mentioned a little while back.
One of the SEO blogs I read quite often is SEOmoz.org. They have some great information and Rand Fishkin (head of the company) is said to be one of the best SEO’s out there. One of my favorite recurring segments on SEOmoz is “White Board Fridays.” It’s a video segment that usually covers beginner’s topics, but is helpful to anyone. Today’s edition is embedded below and has great tips on PPC (pay per click) basics. Since I have been diving head first into PPC to CPA marketing, I figured this would be a great video to share. The guy in the video talks a bit fast but he definitely knows what he’s talking about. Check it out:
This robot (by Robotex) is a series of smaller pieces connected by powerful magnets. When the pieces are broken apart, they sense each other, seek out the other pieces and reassemble automatically. This is very cool and very scary, kind of like the big dog robot I wrote about a couple weeks ago. It is amazing how far we have come with robotics. This stuff is very interesting to me, so much so that I am adding a new category to my blog, “robotics.”
This is definitely one of the coolest/weirdest things I’ve ever seen. Does anyone remember that video of the dog-like robot running in circles attached to a crane? It jumped and did flips and looked incredible in the process. Now the people who brought you that robot (Boston Dynamics) have released it into the wild. In this video, the next generation of the “Big Dog” robot is demonstrated and the advancements are unbelievable.
Check out the video at 0:35 for an insight into the future of robotics. The “dog” was able to instantly respond to someone who tried to kick it over and recovered flawlessly. Later in the video (1:20), the robot slips on ice and its life-like reaction put chills in me. The sound this machine makes is pretty annoying though. Check it out:
