Blog Revenue Report - October
I see many other blogs that report their revenue each month. It is a simple way to give perspective on the size of a blog and potential of monetization. I was recently asked in a comment to share my blog’s income, so here is my revenue for October:
- Private Ad Sales - $250
- Reviews - $150
- Google Adsense - $149.49
- Kontera - $42.69
- TOTAL - $592.18
Although this was not one of my best months I still am very proud at where my blog has come. An extra $600 per month is nothing to laugh at, especially since I had virtually zero costs to run/advertise the blog. I didn’t do any advertising at all this month and server/maintenance costs are minimal.
I am hoping to get my blog’s revenue up to $1000/month within 6 months. I haven’t been good at posting consistently lately, which I need to change. One thing that is always true about websites is: content is king. The more content you have the more traffic you will receive.

Great effort Matt. I think it was me who asked for the revenue report
I think by having that report in front you, itkind of gives you encouragement to do more and it’s a great motivation.
I’ve been lazy to update my blog partially because I make my money from PPC and even thou I like sharing my experience and educating other people about PPC, I just don’t find the time for new posts. Blog can be another income stream and later become a media source for you to launch new products (ebooks, tanning material, etc). So I need get into his game too.

No. I wish it was my full time job, I would be making a lot more (enough to wear the super affiliate title). I work full time and run ppc affiliate marketing biz on the side. I had been trying get into this internet money making biz since I first started in 2006. Didn’t get my success until april/may of this year. At first I tried building websites and stuff, then slowly got into PPC.
Is that just for this blog? because $250 for private ad sales is amazing… can you expand on this for me, because I am looking into this for my blog.
yes, just for this blog. the private ad sales comes from those 125×125 button ads on the side of my blog. it was a mixture of me offering people those ads for a month and companies coming to me requesting ad space.
