For those with onboard sound on their motherboard, and just need a usable mic input for say VOIP, you can always run the SB *and* the on-board sound card, and use I am using the Gaming Audio Series HS1A Gaming Headset. Theres 4 things that control mic volume: Creative Mixer (right panel) Creative mixer (Settings > recording tab) Windows Playback Manager Windows Recording Manager (playback manager > properties > recording) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v295/magnethead/mixer.gif http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v295/magnethead/mixer2.gif I checked and the microphone input is selected and not muted and the volume is all the way up. have a peek here
you could fix it by telling your friends to turn the sensitivity down or disable voice activation and use the scroll lock key as the talk button. freeway said: ↑ figured it out for me at least lots of google searching everyone is talking about this stereo mix option im like wtf where is this searching all the that option to test your mic in TS does exactly that. The speed on my line is 1.6Mbs down/450-500kb up. https://forums.techguy.org/threads/audigy-2-card-makes-my-voice-echo-over-teamspeak.405836/
I wonder if there's an un-geek codec? Asus support have told me to talk to the retailer about RMA. How does it work?

Play with different codecs. It works fine on all the other sound cards I've had.
If he's muted everything but wave, you'd think that this would have to be a problem with one of his friends setups. Yes, my password is: Forgot your password? Nothing but echo - but then when I get into BF2 it lags and takes like literally 45-60 seconds to reach my bro while he is on. using the recording settings under windows sounds has no effect for me...doesn't matter if it's set to microphone, wave, what u hear, whatever. Anyway, hope someone finds an answer even tho my card does not suffer from it. http://internetbusinessdaily.net/audigy-2/audigy-2-zs-platinum.html but the micro part its very instable .....one run its oki next i have no micro input .. The one feature the WoW chat has that generally beats other solutions is that it will automatically lower the rest of the WoW sound effects and volume when someone is talking. And then I just right clicked on the Speaker Phone icon in the task bar bottom right, and then hit Recording Devices. Everything works great or sounds great except when I try to use a microphone. Is there a way to fix this problem, and if not, is there a solution even in the works?
None of it worked.
If it's turned off, TS won't work. You can get it here. It also works fine when it's in my other PC, and in my friend's PC as well.Message Edited by XeoTerminus on 03-4-2005 0:42 AM Er, and I've also changed it from I have an Audigy 2 ZS card.
I have now plugged in my x12's usb plug into a cheap generic portable battery bank and it worked a charm. My computer is connected right to the switch - Im sitting right next to it. I am using a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS soundcard, any help would be much appreciated its driving F ING INSANE. this contact form winston856, Jun 6, 2006 winston856, Jun 6, 2006 #10 Jun 6, 2006 #11 Canon 2[H]4U Messages: 2,288 Joined: Aug 12, 2004 That sounds like an odd poblem to me...
Any is appreciated. The problem mostly occurs on TeamSpeak, but I doubt that's the problem because the volume is also barely audible on the Windows sound recorder. But I see it is uni'versal, and no-one has a solution that works. Every time I check these boards, I see new posts from people who are having this same problem, and there are no solutions for it.
Changing to normal 3D Audio brings my aim back to normal. Big thanks everyone!!! I realllly need some help. Sound Tab 1: No problems found.

Yes it is, even when I plug in an external mic through the ROG volume controller (or even directly to the sound card). That can be quite annoying. I tried all of it, Creative Mixer, Windows Mixer, Surround Mixer, and any other setting I could find that deal with mic...So then I got upset, and removed the card from For those that have installed this, and omitted all the other baggage that goes with it (courtesy of the install CD) you may find firing up IL2:FB causes your TS conversations
This is with the creative ZS latest drivers. One of the admins mentioned the level of recording. Anything else I should try? They say it sounds like I'm not even using a headset at all and people tell me to turn off my speakers and put on my headset all the time when
The volume controls for voice in-game also override the TS settings. I'll be returning mine unless there is a fix. The microphone was just one of those crappy dell OEM ones, but it did work when I had my Santa Cruz sound card.
