ATI Radeon 5850 - No Signal HDMI Out
I bought myself a monitor today but being plugged in as DVI to either the mobo or the video card the monitor does not receive a signal. Although I have seen no documentation about this online and from what I understand PCIe 2.0 is backwards compatible with PCIe 1.0, some cards just don't work with PCIe 1.0. Make sure its all the way in. Power on, Press your BIOS access key (F2 or Esc or Del whichever yours is). A known working PSU. I went to Devices/Hardware and went to the Properties for the "5700 series ATI" and then Driver and then clicked Uninstall. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/299947-33-5850-display

Turns on, no video, fan is spinning like crazy. I don't think the DVI slots are faulty because of the way the fan is acting.

Either there is some compatibility issue between Sapphire Radeons and Gigabyte z77 line or my power supply just isn't cutting it. When it finishes, it says in the install box that warnings have occured, then links me to Internet Explorer but doesn't specify any warnings, it just details what's been installed.Currently, the If that is the case can an admin please move to the correct location on these forums. Look for a 4-pin socket on the motherboard near the CPU, it needs a lead from the PSU, (if relevant to your pc). So after probably 5 hours of:Constant re-seating of the 5850 Testing multiple cables/adapters Testing in my other rig Testing the 5770 in both rigs Updating BIOS and re-updating it Clearing CMOS They check out my PC and upgrade the BIOS which is a step I missed.
